Rotating Vacuum Chamber

The rotating vacuum chamber consists of 4 radial orientated DN100CF flanges. These flanges can be rotated around two DN160CF (6'') flanges by a stepping motor. The angle position is monitored. Special seals provide leakrates below 1e-9 l*mbar/s. This special chamber was designed in cooperation with the IAP at Frankfurt University for optical beam dignostics. Pressures around 8e-8 mbar were reached easily. Many other application forms are thinkabale.
