VEBTVS100 for ELI-NP<\/span><\/h3>\n

This project included the design, fabrication, on-site installation and commissioning.<\/p>\n

In this case it involves a system to redirect and focus 100-TW-laser-beams.<\/p>\n

It consists of two large, height-adjustable rectangular chambers \u2013 one of them heatable for a final pressure of \u2264 1 * 10-8 mbar \u2013 five round height-adjustable turning boxes, breadboards for each chamber which are mechanically isolated and independently adjustable in height, beam tubes for connecting the chambers, various vacuum gate valves as well as an entire vacuum system including a pre-vacuum system and a control and monitoring unit for the machine.<\/p>\n

Inside are mirrors, which are installed in micrometer-precise positioning systems (translation and rotation) and directed to various experimental devices (target systems, diagnostics for laser beam and generated radiation characterization).<\/p>\n
