NTGL´s main scope are basic research works concerning Ion Beam Figuring processes to achieve nanometer precise surfaces. These works are carried out in cooperation with the Institut of Oberflächenmodifikation in Leipzig.

Beside Ion Beam Figuring NTGL has started research works in the field of non pressure bio-oil production.
